Tindouf (Algeria), 21/05/2023.- Sahrawi men march in a parade in Aousserd in Tindouf South West of Algiers, Algeria, 21 May 2023. The parade marks the 50th anniversary of the Polisario Front and the outbreak of the armed struggle for Western Sahara’s independence. The Polisario Front was launched on 20 May 1973, ten days after its creation, the armed struggle began against Spanish occupation of Western Sahara, then against the Moroccan army which invaded the territory in October 1975, following Spain’s withdrawal.
